Coronavirus

By Maura Morrison. Posted on October 16, 2020.

The coronavirus has had a huge impact around the world, across the country and in our local communities. As for our dance community, the dances held at the Guiding Star Grange have come to a screeching halt. We miss the music, the dancing, and especially, each other. In the meantime, our Friends board members have continued to meet via Zoom to carry on with our planning of future events. We are also trying to find ways to keep the community strong. In November we will continue with our membership drive, though it will be done via the mail rather than in person at the Fall Frolic. If you have suggestions that you would like to share, or would like to participate in board meetings, drop a line to gro.e1713620723cnadd1713620723leifn1713620723eergf1713620723osdne1713620723irf@o1713620723fni1713620723. We wish there were a crystal ball that could tell us when dances can resume, but wishful thinking won’t bring us any closer. Know that the health and safety of everyone in our dance community comes first and foremost. Let’s focus on everything we can do to keep ourselves healthy so that we can meet again on the dance floor as soon as it is safe to do so.
